Education is an SSH research domain that can greatly benefit from twinning between widening countries and leading research teams with complementary expertise. Envisioning and shaping the future of education in the digital era is a persistently illusive endeavor exacerbated by loosely understood changing educational needs, emerging digital technologies, and the unpredictability of societal, citizenship, and mobility parameters.
TransEET will forge sustainable connections and synergies between a research Lab in the most historical University in Widening Greece and four highly impacting labs in leading institutions in Europe. It will address the problem of shaping the use of existing and emerging technologies for dynamic educational transformation to meet the needs of the 21st century.
TransEET project aims to enhance the research, leadership, and impact capabilities of a Greek lab that has immense potential but lacks experience in administration, management, and international outreach. The project will implement a strategic program that involves co-design, implementation, and promotion of educational innovations using emerging technologies like AI, VR, AR, and 3D printing. This program will be executed equally across all partners and at a consistent pace.
TransEET is a project fueled by an innovative method called 'Co.F.E.'. This method comprises three main elements:
The Co.F.E. method aims to generate strong leadership capacity in a Greek institution, contributing to world-leading sustained research and innovation in a transforming Education sector. Furthermore, it will positively impact all the partners' educational contexts.
