🌟 TransEET at 38th UMI-CIIM CONFERENCE GE2025 🌟

From 4 to 6 September, the 38th UMI-CIIM GE2025 CONFERENCE was held In Genova, an event that explored the role of mathematics education for active and critical citizenship.

In this context, four our researchers from UNITO — Ornella Robutti, Andrea Ghersi, Mosè Colangelo and Beatrice Bruno Franco — held two workshops for participants:

  • “Embodimath: immersive exploration of functions with the body and GeoGebra Plus”: Participants interacted with a GeoGebra applet using their bodies to explore functions.
  • “Transforming Math: immersive geometry workshop with virtual and augmented reality”: Participants used VR and AR headsets to immerse themselves in a three-dimensional Cartesian reference system, manipulating geometric objects with their hands to explore transformations.

It was a valuable opportunity to showcase the application of emerging technologies and innovative methodologies in mathematics teaching.
