๐ŸŒŸ Community Spotlight: CoI1 ๐ŸŒŸ

Our first Community of Interest investigates the theme of โ€œArtificial Intelligence to Support Exploratory Learningโ€. The strong focus here is on the student experience in exploratory environments. By co-creating activity prototypes for different environments such as ChoiCo, MaLT2, Interactive Concept Cartoons, MindsOn and FractionsLab, the members share and test ideas how AI might support learners in such open environments, given the resource constraints educators have in a classroom.

Every month the 10 members from 4 institutions come together in online meetings to co-design and review prototypes and discuss promising research opportunities based on these prototypes. The diverse backgrounds and profiles of the members enable exciting discussions and offer new perspectives even for the more experienced researchers in the group.
