Our fourth Community of Interest (CoI) brings together a dynamic group of 10+ members, focused on the exciting theme of โAugmented Reality Gaming for STEMโ.
The larger group size fuels creativity and high output of ideas and prototypes, but also presents unique collaboration challenges. To tackle this, we employ innovative tools and processes like asynchronous sub-CoI meetings, break-out rooms, and Padlet boards. Together, we explore how AR and game-based learning can enhance STEM education, developing and reviewing a range of prototypes including:
๐ฎFunction Dungeon โ An interactive game teaching linear functions through game-based challenges.
๐๏ธArchitectural Quest Game โ Merging architecture, history, and mathematics combining AR.
๐Geometry Deconstruction โ Enhancing learning of surface area and volume through immersive 3D interactions.
